The Things I do. & can do.
Right!! So i am here to do things that are my alter ego. Things that are to be more fun than what i do for work!! & there are other reasons too!!
The City Of Djinns. The Seven cities of Delhi. Lutyens Delhi. Imperial city. Even The Delhi Belly!! So, now that you are going to be here, you ve heard all the catch phrases that are to this city!! & why not? Its amongst the oldest living cities!! & Like, befitting its stature, has many many distinct layers to it self!! Layers that can take a life time to go through & more!!
This is about:
Ok- since you certainly do not have the life time to learn this area, learn some of it. Yes, from me!! I love Delhi!! Maybe I hate it also!! I love its potatoes-ish smell of the undercover in the evenings, the passing by the totally unobtrusive tombs of thirteenth century mystics, the habitat of its trees, of the grand monuments that are a stone throw from anywhere & everywhere, of the thirteenth century living in the twenty first, etc. etc.!! My hate list doesn’t deserve this page!!
So, I may share some time with you, adding my experience to your inquisitiveness!! In clear terms, I could plan to curate your some of the time in Delhi. Call it a walk, though most likely in a vehicle!! I d be your guide for those hours. With my stories & tales & lies!!
Of course, we would have to plan it before. Oh, & for not more than four hours!! Amongst the themes to begin with, I submit the following:

Ok, these are just tag lines. I would like to make each encounter as unique as possible, so that it also keeps my interest alive. Broadly, this will involve going someplace, seeing, walking, talking, eating etc.

This one is with an agenda. One which is about the future of us, our children & the world that they will inherit from us. Now, what I believe is that one way of making things better in all the areas mentioned is by sensitizing the children to the environment of the world. Begin anywhere, but let the purpose be to introduce the beauty, fragility & complexity of the environment that we live in. & Hopefully, they will think up ways of making it a better place!!
The WTF walks are falling under my social responsibility scheme. & I am hoping to rope in many more to aid it!!
This is about:
The walks are for groups of similar placed children, in age & awareness, & to be led by anchors of the field the area of the walk topic, for instance a leading environmentalist showing the way into waste disposal in the city. The idea is to introduce the children to concerns as well as adults amongst us who are looking into those concerns. The theme of walks, roughly parallel to certain facets of the urban environment are:

Trees & Gardens

Living art

Building conservation
-
Etc.
I am hoping to increase our list of concerns & also the people who can lead the children into them
Costs:
The walks are organized for a small no. of children. Roughly planned for a few hours at a time, the cost is minimal- to cover the transport & taking care etc. only.
