Did you miss me? ( why not?!!-)

& Having thought about the word- its nature & meaning- Relationships, I d like to share that I have found out, I think, the crux of the meaning of it!!

Yes, I have!! & The Crux is also the Litmus test for the existence of it- a negative implying that it may actually not exist!! I mean, that the ‘relationship’ may actually not be existing if the tests are negative. & That it may just be a pretense of it!! The test may therefore be of use for judging, evaluating, course correcting etc. of many formats of the word including marital, romantic, work, buddy, casual, limited, formal, beneficial etc. etc. yes, hate too!!- You get the picture!!

So here is it!! The Crux of all relationships, especially dialectic ones, is Missing the other party involved!!

Yes, its that simple!! Now, how one misses is based upon the nature of the particular relationship. Obviously a romantic relationship will have a different missing than one about parenting!! But missing the person is the necessity of it all!! The intensity of the loss will probably indicate the strength of the relationship!! & the absence of missing surely will indicate the obvious!! Of course that lends the test to subjectivity, but then we are discussing a complex matter here!!

So if you Miss another person, you are in a relationship with the person. QED. If the other misses you too, it’s a two-way relationship!!

There could be ways of missing!! & Time! & Place!! So you could, say miss your accountant at a time you need to sort out that move in your finances- voila, you are there with him/her!! & you may miss your secretary, or your colleague, or your peon- right!! Yes, you are in relationship with all of them!! Of course, this not undermine spousal, parental, romantic, family, friendship etc. nature of these. Yet, one realized, the basis of these, as with your accountant – is the same- missing each other!! Right?!!

& that creates an interesting sub thesis!! That, relationship can be of all kinds & can be created!! Meaning- if you can make the other miss you, whatever be it for, you can create a relationship together!! The nature of this would be, as before, based on where & how the two of you miss each other- & defining that may be difficult- but you are!! You are there!!

The defined world of relationships can enlarge itself to undefined & constructed network of them!! & what else is human if not the network of relationships of the self with the world!! So go ahead, make them more!!

& Therefore, did you miss me?!!-) & if not, maybe I have to try harder!!
